Full Description and Introduction of the Faculty

The School of Nursing, Alborz University of Medical Sciences separated from the faculty of Medicine in February 2011 and started to work independently. There are 2 major departments in this school: Nursing and Prehospital emergency departments. This school is currently accepting undergraduate and graduate students in the following programs: 

•Nursing (BSc)

•Emergency nursing (MSc)

•Prehospital emergency services (BSc)

This school tries to train highly-skilled professionals with an in-depth understanding of diverse people that they serve, including underserved and rural ones. The school is committed to accomplish this mission by providing dynamic, thoughtful, innovative and collaborative learning.

The faculty with the total area of 880 square meters has tried to provide adequate facilities for the students. These facilities include classes with the capacity of 220 seats, internet center with 11 systems, laboratories, research center, and audio-visual amenities; library, amphitheaters with the capacity of 120 seat, dining room with the capacity of serving 300 people. The students also can benefit facilities of sport (Chess, Tennis, Dartboards) and Prayer room.
