Research

Alborz University of Medical Sciences has sophisticated research centers that provide high quality scientific research services through a highly trained, knowledgeable and committed staff.  In these research centers, we aim to promote research and integrate research into education.  We try to collaborate and interact with international and national organizations to address problems and challenges in the field of medicine. It is also tried to increase country's contribution to science in the field of medicine. The Existing research centers include

 

 HSE Research Center (health, safety, and environment):  The aim of this center is to move across the boundaries of knowledge and technology and take into account the country's regional and local challenges in HSE

 

 Non- communicable Diseases Research Center: The priority of research is   prevention and intervention in non-communicable diseases. The aim of this center is to conduct research to reduce major and common risk factors for non-communicable diseases

 

 Evidence-based Phytotherapy and Complementary Medicine Research Center: The aim of this center is to conduct clinical epidemiological research on   medicinal herbs and complementary medicine in order to improve the quality of health

 

 SDH Research Center (Social Determinants of Health) : This center tries to conduct applied research on social determinants of health by researchers to move toward the realization of health equity

 

 Probiotics and Dietary Supplements Research Center:  The overall aim of this center is promoting and developing the consumption of human, animal and agricultural probiotic products. This center also aims to modify, develop and diversify the dietary supplements consumed by youth and vulnerable groups (children, pregnant women, the elderly ...)
